EGL Magazine was created one evening in July 2008 by Keller, who remains as the magazine's editor and feature writer. Since then, the magazine has grown rapidly, increasing the number of readers, the number of people wanting to be reviewed, interviewed and featured, and increasing in popularity, reach and reputation.
In 2010, EGL Magazine took on Blackavar, another full-time writer, as well as part-time writers Madmut, Kevan and Ophelia Ash.
All EGL Magazine writers are volunteers and receive no payment for their work, and the magazine makes no revenue. All expenses - website hosting, promotional materials and travel to gigs and events - comes directly out of the writers' pockets; just because we are passionate about what we do.
We want to keep EGL Magazine free to read and free for bands, businesses and individuals to get coverage in without plastering the site with adverts. In order to do this we rely on kind donations from people who have enjoyed reading the magazine, or who have received coverage in it.
Please help us to continue to bring you the very best gothic music, fashion and lifestyle articles by clicking on the donate button below and donating securely through PayPal.
Thank you so much.
